Josiah's 2 month check-up and Zach's REAL birthday

Jo had his 2 month check-up today. It went really good. He weighs 13lbs14oz and is 24 3/4 inches long. He is in the 95th percentile on his height and 90th on his weight. He's getting so BIG. He was a really good boy. Jo thought Dr.Gray was playing with him and smiled the whole time he was examining him. It's great when they aren't screaming the whole time. Most babies hate it once you take their clothes off at the doctor. Then the lady with the NEEDLES came. Three of them. YIKES! He screamed then. Surprisingly enough, he has been happier than usual today.

And...

My BIG baby turned 8 years old today. I can't believe it. I remember when I was taking him for his baby shots. Sniff, sniff. After the doctor, me and Josiah took his fave, Subway to school to have lunch with him. Man, that cafeteria will sure give you a HEADACHE. Kids are so silly at that age. "Spell I CUP" HA HA! It's funny, they are still making the same (dumb) jokes we did when I was in 2nd grade.

Zach decorated at pumpkin for a contest at school. I think "Frank" turned out pretty cute! Very fitting if you know Zach:) He's a rockstar.

Jo is 2 months old!

Dora wanted so badly to be in a picture. I kept kicking her out, and she kept coming right back. I finally gave up and she posed right next to him. She looks kinda BIG.

My (big) baby is turning 8!

Zach turns 8 on the 27th. I can't believe it!

I made Zach's cake this year. I usually buy one, so I don't screw it up:) I think it turned out pretty "fantastic". (That's my Martha Stewart word)

We had his party at the Main Event. They wore Halloween costumes, bowled, had pizza and played games. They had so much fun!

Soccer

On the field over from us, a man pulled a loaded gun out and pointed it at a man during a little girl's soccer game. Thankfully someone knew what to do and took him down. So scary, you are just not safe anywhere anymore.

Jo loves to watch his mobile. We have decided they need to make them plug in, so they last much, much longer:) We have a fussy baby!

Aww. Dora usually growls at him. It makes her very nervous when he moves or makes noises.

BAD DOG!

Dora loves popcorn, but only out of the bowl. Tony left his bowl to tend to the baby and this is what happened. She makes a huge mess with it!

And she will go to great lengths to get food off of the table. She is after a leftover chicken strip. Lickin' her chops already!

She's a bad girl! It's a good thing she is cute...

7wks old

We tried out the Bumbo on Jo's 7wk birthday. (Actually, we tried it out the day before, but I'm an idiot and deleted all the pictures off my camera by accident-never click the setting that says FORMAT...maybe I'm the last to know) He likes it! He was pretty happy in it for awhile, but after a little bit, enough is enough! Check out those chins! He weighed 11lbs 15.8oz on Monday. He's getting so big (and heavy to lug around in that carseat).

He is smiling a lot more, and I ALMOST got him to laugh.

Josiah loves to look at his fish mobile (thanks Aunt Sugar) above his changing table. He has started talking to them. It's so cute. (also deleted this video, so we had to try again)

Precious Pictures

Josiah got his picture taken this morning. He was awake and happy! I was really nervous about that. He did so good, I was impressed:) They all turned out really cute, it was hard for me to choose. So I chose lots so I could get the free disk (free?? right...) and have them all. These were a few of my faves! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HIM!!

A big boy!

I took Jo to the weight clinic at the hospital on Monday. He weighs 11lbs 3oz! He was 5wks and 5 days. He has gained over 4lbs since we left the hospital! I guess that means he is eating good:)
